Discussion: Brexit impact on Lithuanian business

On March 25 members of Panevezys CCIC gathered for a discussion on Brexit and its possible impact on Lithuanian business.

The current situation was presented by Lina Zigmantaite – Head of Trade Policy Unit of Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The future relations between the European Union and the United Kingdom are still unclear but customs duties, additional requirements regarding licenses, customs inspection at the border will certainly influence business and trade processes. The prices of goods will rise, their delivery process will become longer and more complicated.

According to Lina Zigmantaite all Lithuanian companies dealing with the United Kingdom, in particular small and medium-sized ones will be affected by a no-deal Brexit.
